8. Text Messages / SMS Communications - with the addition of the SMS portion

To unsubscribe from promotional emails, you may use the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of the email. To opt-out of receiving promotional text messages, you may reply “STOP.” Note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or services you have requested. We may also send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us and our services, and you will not be able to opt-out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding the services or updates to this Privacy Policy).

9. Children's Privacy

Ice Scout is not directed at individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

10. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on our platform and updating the "Effective Date."

11. Compliance with OWHA (Ontario Women’s Hockey Association)

Ice Scout is in strict compliance with the rules of the OWHA. While we are providing a platform to facilitate the scouting process for both players and coaches, we do not promote Tampering as defined by the OWHA, nor do we take responsibility for the misuse of the Ice Scout platform and resources. Parent, players, scouts and coaches are advised to uphold the OWHA rules and polices as are published from time to time. By agreeing to use the Ice Scout platform, you are agreeing to abide by OWHA policies.
